Where some car companies decide to advertise sleekness, we decided slutty would be our approach.
You might think I am about to rip this commercial, but you’d be
wrong. I love it and I love it because Cadillac decided to drop both subtlety and the proverbial panties of Kate Walsh. She begins in a very typical monotone manner describing all these features that aren’t even the question anymore like a 40GB hard drive, an in dash nav system, or any other of a multitude of other features the average consumer still only dreams of having in their car. No, it’s not about any of these things, the real question is this:
When you turn on your car does it return the favor? 
That’s right. We shamelessly admit that all the really matters in a car to us is whether or not it gets our sex juices flowing when we push down on that oh so supple gas pedal. The problem is the only thing this makes me feel is jealousy. I can’t remember the last time that I was able to get in the mood just by going out for a casual drive; there has never been a time that merging on a highway has led to any sort of liquid expulsion in my pants (well, maybe that one time, but it wasn’t at all sexy); and I know for damn sure that my feet don’t look as good dressed up in a pair of strappy black pumps pressing down on the gas pedal as hers.
Cadillac gets points for inspiring jealousy and raw sex appeal. So many points in fact that they overshadow the reality that like so many other car commercials out there, this one has nothing to do with the actual car.
