Parece que los escritores de Shondaland si van a apoyar la huelga, acá dejo una nota:

The Writers Guild of America has announced that its 12,000 members will go on strike Monday morning against studios and networks, but left the door open for new talks.

Guild leaders, speaking at a Friday afternoon news conference at WGA West headquarters, stressed that they want to negotiate with the companies this weekend -- as long as the companies will back off their insistence that residuals for DVDs cannot be increased.

"We have 48 hours," said WGA negotiating committee chairman John Bowman. "We don't want to strike. What we really want to do is negotiate."

During the news conference, WGA West president Patric Verrone and WGA East president Michael Winship also emphasized they would be open to meeting with the companies. Talks collapsed on Wednesday night, a few hours before the WGA contract expired.

But new talks appear unlikely. In a signal that the companies won't be back at negotiations any time soon, they responded by blasting the WGA in a vitriolic statement by Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers topper Nick Counter.

"We are very disappointed with their press conference and the action they took," Counter said. "Their press conference was full of falsehoods, misstatements and inaccuracies and we'll respond at an appropriate time."

The Writer's Strike - It's Happening

Oh, Lord. Please save us from this mess.

The writers, and by writers I mean every single freaking writer in Hollywood or showbusiness, are going on strike. The strike is rumored to begin by Monday. What does this mean for our beloved Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice? Be careful, because it's not so good.

Currently, Grey's Anatomy (as evidenced by the podcast) is working on episode twelve (maybe thirteen by now) out of their 23-episode season. Private Practice is probably the same. We're not sure yet, since ABC hasn't announced it, but these may be the 12 episodes we get to see before the winter hiatus. And when the writer's strike begins...the writing stops. On Grey's Anatomy. On Private Practice. On everything. So, instead of a 3 or 4 week hiatus in December/early January, we would instead have a hiatus of months, with our shows being replaced by reality and news program, which require no writers.

This is the catrostrophic scenario.

The slighty less depressing scenario involves that of our dreaded strike lasting less than even a week, which would keep everything almost on track, and we wouldn't miss a beat.

However, even though there's no way to tell, things are not looking good.
So, be prepared because Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice may be about to go away for a long, long time.

No estoy muy segura, pero he leído en Fan Forum y en Television without Pity que PrP no entraría en la huelga o se solucionaron los problemas con esta serie...

Voy a ver si consigo más información al respecto.

Es decir media producción cierra ... no estoy muy segura que tan adelantados esten en los capitulos pero segun yo si se suspende

No puede ser... grey's anatomy suspendida ... y por si fuera poco ahora que muero por el estreno de "24" resulta que tampoco ? ... lo mas probable es una suspension indefinida del estreno I wanna die ...

Claro la mayoría de series tienen 11 o 12 capítulos grabados and that's it!

Lo único que nos queda es que se solucione el problema EN LAS SIGUIENTES SEMANAS para que continuen con las grabaciones normalmente.

Maybe la semana sin PrP termina siendo buena cosa, porque es una semana mas que estamos dando para que se arregle lo d la huelga... who knows!

Bueno para que se asusten .. oficialmente se ha suspendido el estreno de Lost y 24 en Enero !!! ahora si las series tienen fecha de estreno indefinidas y se habla del 2009 !!!! OMG ....

Y tambien Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl y T.R Knight se unieron a la huelga...
el estudio y el staff de grey's terminan de grabar este miercoles que viene .. exactamente en 1 semana.

Y de ahi PARÓN total roguemos porque algo suceda .. finalmente los fans somos los que terminamos volando en todo esto.

como que terminan de gravar el miércoles que viene, que no ya habían parado de grabar entonces en que capitulo se quedaron y si esos que grabaron los pasaran este año.

Ajá exacto ahorita van a terminar hasta el capitulo 11 ... ahorita estan grabando ese en ABC ... el miercoles terminan ese capitulo y ya hay parón ya los actores ni el staff va a trabajar ... de ahi ya no se continua más .. los capitulos que tienen escritos son hasta el 13 pero en caso de seguir en la huelga los escritores no van a seguir más con las historias de ésta 4ta temporada.

Y bueno .... lo cual quiere decir que vamos a tener hiatus por ejemplo despues del capitulo 8 se vienen 3 semanas de espera hasta mediados de diciembre ... y luego la renovacion del capitulo 9 , 10 y 11 hasta enero ....
YEAH I KNOW APESTA.
