'GREY'S' MCDREAMY, MEREDITH GETTING BACK TOGETHER

March 8, 2008 -- 'GREY'S Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes has a lot of time to think over the recent writers strike - and decided she had to something about McDreamy and Meredith.

"My goal is to get Meredith and Derek together for good and let them try to figure out what it is to be in a relationship in the future," Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly's web site yesterday. "And that is something that time off [during the strike] really gave me perspective on - whether or not we could actually do it, how we could do it, that it would be amazing to watch how that works."

Rhimes and Patrick Dempsey, who plays McDreamy, "talked about all of this" earlier this week, she says.

"Ellen [Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey] and I are getting together Monday," she adds.

"Grey's" will be back at the end of April.

Oh cuanta cantidad de spoilers que no habia leido.
Lo del posible "caso" que posteo Juli me parece interesante , siempre soy malisima para interpretar ese tipo de cosas asi que por eso me abstengo a todo tipo de comentarios.

Uhh lo de Mer - Der cada dia me tiene mas confundida
ya no se ni que pensar ... de verdad ESTOY TAN HARTA de eso que ya ni quiero comentar mas.

DAMON: We are writing it as a two hour but they want to air it as two different hours because on May 22nd, which is essentially the last day of the season, they have a two hour Grey's [Anatomy] finale which going to run from 8 to 10, and that is only going to leave an hour for us. It's going to be designed as all of our finales have been, but not unlike the Lost pilot, which was written a two hours and aired as two separate hours , that is what they are going to do.

Unless they are planning on skipping a week in there, it looks like we'll get an extra hour. YAY.

My life is pretty sad.

Lore......hay que esperar para ver estos capítulos....y chica ya no me sorprende lo de Mark y Hahn.....lo que me preocupa es que no tienen ese tipo de química de pareja....ni aun siendo dispareja.....desde mi punto de vista ...y creo que la mayoria del público......ellos como pareja no convencen....parece demasiado forzado....demasiado actuado.

Te lo imaginas en la cama?........de solo imaginarlo me da risa!......es casi como el Gizzie....tienen muy buena química como amigos pero como pareja es un Ewwww!.

Y Shonda cree que esta pareja va a sorprender.......yo no les veo la sorpresa en ningún lado.....es más creo que Hahn es más McSteamy que el propio McSteamy........se me hace que solo lo va a utilizar....rompiendo el autoestima de Mark en el proceso.......

Catch Up On 'Grey's Anatomy'!

Interesting that the recap says that George and Callie fell in love and their marriage is on the rocks. It doesn't say that the marriage is over and it also doesn't say that George and Izzie fell in love just that they had great sex when they were drunk and when they tried to have great sex again they failed miserably. I got a bit of a feeling that George and Callie may get back together and that things definitely aren't over for them which I sort of thought they were.

Mr. Bamberger is changing from a hospital gown to clothes and is very angry. Dr.Lasher arrives and asks him what he’s doing and he says that he [Dr.Lasher] said that he would vaccuum the fat out of Mr.Bamberger’s ass at 10 o’clock that morning. He drops his pants and says the fat is still there. Dr. Lasher apologizes and says they had admisnistrative issues and they’ll reschedule the surgery. Mr.B asks when and Dr.L says he can’t sauy for certain. Mr.B walks past Dr. L and remarks that he knew he should’ve gone to Mercy West and says that he better not get a bill or Dr.L will be hearing from his lawyer. He leaves.

David, Todd, Keith, Dr. Evett

Dr.Evett- David Covington (30) has a brain tumor. Dr.Smith enters the room and finds Dr.Evett there. Dr.Evett is David’s regular neurologist who’s been treating him at Seattle General. Dr.Smith and Dr.Evett make the usual introductions and Dr.Evett says that he’s glad that Dr.Smith was able to get David into the program. Dr.Smith points out that there are an enormous amount of risks involved but they’ll have to better assess which they’ll know with a new CT. Dr.Smith begins to roll Davd out.

Keith- Dr.Tompson enters the room and finds Dr.Evett and Keith (David’s father) there. Dr.Tompson explains the procedure they’re going to do. They are going to inject a virus into the tumor which will cut off it’s blood supply and basically starve it. Keith asks if they’ve had success doing that and Dr.Tompson says there’s only been one other patient. At the doorway, Todd remarks that it’s ok because David has survived two tours in Afghanistan so he’s used to risk. David asks his dad if he called his whole platoon and Keith (David’s dad) says he only called Todd and Todd says he called the whole platoon. Keith says that if David’s going to beat this he’s going to need his friends by his side.

David – Dr.Tompson is drawing David’s blood and Todd is sitting by his bedside. They are having a guarded conversation and are very aware of Dr.T’s presence. Todd asks Dr:t what’s the recovery period for brain surgery. Dr.T says it varies but usually 4-6 weeks and Todd remarks to David that he’ll be stuck with him for another 4-6 weeks. David tells him not to be an idiot and that he ships out in 5 days and Todd answers he doesn’t have to. David tells Todd to not screw this up for himself. That he’s a soldier, it’s who he is and David is probably not going to survive the surgery. Todd jokes and says that’s cool because then he’ll be ready to go in 5 days so they don’t even have to have this argument. David asks him why he came and Todd answers how could he not. Todd takes David’s hand and David looks nervously at Dr.T. Todd says he’s too paranoid. Dr.T announces that she’s finished and she’ll leave them both and she pick sup her chart. David and Todd aren’t even paying attention to her anymore and are looking at each other. Todd is leaning in for a slow, sexy kiss filled with so much yearning and longing (that’s the side description –not mine lol). Suddenly David’s dad shows up and yells “Mr.Covington!”. David and Todd look at keith and the whole room goes deathly quiet.

Dr.Tompson enters David’s room to shave his head for surgery. Dr.T tells David that Todd is in the lobby and he wanted him to know. David says that Todd an idiot and should just go and forget about him. Dr.T says that’s not an easy thing to do. David agrees but says it would be better for everyone especially with Dr.Evett around. Todd can’t risk getting outed or he’d lose everything he’s worked for. Dr.T says it’s crazy that he has to worry about that. David remarks –don’t ask, don’t tell. He knew the deal when he signed on but he figured he would just keep his work life separate from his personal life. He didn’t count on meeting his personal life at work. Dr.T hands David a mirror and asks him if he wants to watch. David tells Dr.T that this is longest he’s ever had his hair since he enlisted. He survived 6 years of active duty and he can’t believe it’s a tumor that’s probably going to kill him. Dr.T says she can get Todd but David says no because of his dad. David goes on and say he knows what Dr.T is thinking. He’s a brave soldier who can’t even stand up to his father. Dr.T says that’s not what she’s thinking. She’s thinking that this is hard. David asks the tumor part or the gay part and Dr.T answers ‘the whole part’. Dr.T starts to shave David’s head for surgery.

Todd- the scene where David’s dad shows up just as David and Todd are about to kiss is slightly longer. After the room goes quiet, Keith (David’s dad) tells Todd to get out. David and Keith look at each other and David drops his hand immediately. Keith tells Todd to not make him throw him out. Todd looks at David and tells him not to worry that he’s not going anywhere. Todd walks out.

In the ICU hallway (night): Dr.T is monitoring david’s progress and Keith is watching from the hallway. Todd approaches with 2 cups of coffee. Todd says the coffee tastes awful but keeps you awake. Keith doesn’t acknowledge him. Todd says that he knows his presence in uncomfortable for keith but he can’t leave. He was trained not to leave a man when he’s down. A man is down and they both [Todd and Keith] love him.

Lucas, Kyra, Jessie, Zoe

Last case is of a woman named Kyra who has congestive heart failure and needs surgery. Her husband is named Lucas and they have two daughters: Zoe (9) and Jessie (5) who’s dressed as a princess.

Lucas - Dr. Smith is administering “medical” to Kyra. Lucas gave the girls gum because they’re mother is living in a hospital and going to have surgery so they should have as much sugar they want. Kyra says they better watch out when she gets her new heart and Lucas says they can’t wait. Zoe asks what Dr.Smith is doing. Lucas answers it’s something way too complicated for a 5 year old to understand and picks her up and gives her a hug. Nighttime – Lucas picks Zoe up to give her mom a kiss before the doctors fix her heart. Lucas notices Kyra’s neck muscles straining and tells Dr:Smith there’s something wrong. Dr. Smith who was charting rushes over and asks what happened. Lucas says that she just started gasping for air. Dr.Smith thinks her lung dropped and orders Dr.Brown to be paged. Kyra lies motionless and Lucas is scared. He asks Dr.S if he should be doing something. Dr.S grabs a mask and gloves, pushes Lucas out of the way and and starts to pull out a large needle…

Zoe – The beggining is similar to the Lucas side except the doctor is now Dr.James. Dr. James says to a nurse “medical, medical” and Zoe asks her mom what that means. Kyra tells her not to worry, she’s still too young. Dr.James explains to Zoe that it’s like Snow White. When she eats the poison apple and she’s dead for a while but not really dead. Zoe asks if her mom is going to be dead and Dr.J says ‘no’ and then ‘yes technically’ but it’s okay because she’s going to come back to life. Zoe is scared and looks at her mom.

Jessie – The beginning is similar to the side for Lucas. Jessie asks Dr.James if she likes princesses and she says yeah, sure. Jessie asks who’s Dr.James’ favorite princess and Dr.J says she doesn’t know and asks Jessie what’s hers. Jessie answers Snow White. Dr.J holds out the stethoscope and asks Jessie if she wants to listen to her mom’s heart. Jessie perks up.

Kyra – Total chaos in the room. Kyra is having a panic attack. Lucas stands helplessly by. Kyra says to Lucas that she needs him to hold her without the wires in her. She needs him to kiss her with a nurse taking her blood pressure every 5 minutes. She says he can’t do this anymore. Lucas tells her he’s right there. Kyra says he’s not. She can’t touch him outside of the bed and she can’t play with the kids. She needs to get out of there. Kyra sees Dr.Brown and says Dr.B told he she’d have a heart in 3 weeks and it’s been 8 weeks in that bed and in that room. Dr.B tells Kyra to listen to her but Kyra continues…She says she doesn’t want anymore of Dr.B’s promises. She wants to leave. She wants to hug her kids and kiss her husband. She needs hands sticky with peanut butter and her husband’s morning breath. Asks if Dr.B can imagine missing morning breath and then says she’s going crazy in there. Dr.B approaches the bed and reaches out to Kyra. Kyra takes her hand. Dr.B tells Kyra that she will leave the room soon. That’s what Dr.B had come to tell her, they had a heart for her.

The next scene in the side is the scene with the kids in the room and Dr.James telling Jessie that her mom will be dead like Snow White. Jessie asks “Snow White dies??” and runs to her mother’s bed. Dr. James apologizes and says she thought Jessie knew. Kyra tells Dr.J that they never let her watch till the end. When they’re little you skip over the scary parts. Dr:J apologizes again and Kyra says it’s ok because Dr.J doesn’t have kids so how would she know.

Wayne – (In the hospital conference room) Dr.Smith and Dr.Walker enter the room and meet Wayne the HR manager. Dr.Smith asks what is the problem. Wayne informs them that no formal harassment complaints have been filed however the Hospital Board wants to protect itself from possible future litigation. Dr. Smith asks if he means sexual harassment. Wayne answers yes and that as of that day every hospital employee is going to fill out a form stating all their past and current workplace relationships. Wayne hands them a stack of forms.

BTW, if you're wondering why we teased this item with a photo of Eric Dane, it's because A) the story pertains to Grey's, and B) Dane is a member of that show's cast. Duh.

Actually, I think that Ausiello was trying to diffuse any talk of it being Mark by making his reasoning clear as why Eric Dane was used. I mean, when Ausiello wants to hint he's as subtle as a mack truck going sideways down the highway. That's just my take on it.

Anyway, the plot synopsis from Grey's Anatomy Insider may be valid, since it contains two items that we didn't hear before: Erica and Callie's friendship continues, and Erica and Mark go out on a date. What I AM wondering is if they are going to go for sensationalism and maybe make a hook-up between Erica and Callie, or maybe make the reason why Erica is not so into men be that she is attracted to women and trying not to reveal it. OR LVAD is coming out and its possible Callie spills or is accused of spilling.

Lo que yo he aprendido de estar investigando Spoilers es a no enredarse mucho en lo que dicen, parte de ellos siempre son ciertos pero otra parte solo confunden ....

Lo de Hahn y la bisexualidad es un tema que yo veo muy probable que suceda ... pero no creo que se correspondido por algun otro miembro del Seattle Grace .... asi que descarto la posiblidad de lo algo como L-WORLD ahi ... sinceramente seria muy grotesco ver alguna posibilidad de relacion entre Cristina y Callie y no porque no respete eso de ser "gay" , simplemente no me lo creeiria jamas.

Spoilers son spoilers.........Cual de estos resultará cierto?........aunque no sabemos nada de Hanh....lo de bi puede ser probable......Se enamorará de Callie?.....jajajaja..........hasta ahora no veo ningún desarrollo en el personaje de Hahn......tratan de empatarla con Mar.......pero no tienen ese tipo de química....espero que Shonda se de cuenta de eso.......por que tuvimos suficiente con el Gizzie......otra pareja...no creíble...seria fatal para la serie.........

Exclusive: Grey's Recruits Two Carnivale Grads!

Amy Madigan has booked a multi-episode arc on Grey's Anatomy, sources confirm to me exclusively. The Oscar-nominated thesp — and former co-star of HBO's gone-but-not-forgotten Carnivale — is playing a psychiatrist who, and I'm just speculating here, may be the one to help Meredith get over her commitment issues, thus paving the way for the Mer/Der reunion Shonda Rhimes has been hyping. (a quien le importa?)

Meanwhile, Madigan's former Carnivale co-star, Clea DuVall, will fill the "everywoman housewife" role I teased in last week's Ask Ausiello. Her George Clooney-esque husband will be played by Jason O'Mara (Men in Trees, In Justice). I'm guessing one of them will be a patient. Both are on board for two episodes.

Ausiello: That depends. Does the sight of two extremely good-looking young men making out on your TV screen get you excited? If your answer is yes, then I guarantee you at least one of Grey's five post-strike episodes will be very good. According to my Seattle Grace mole, producers are looking for a pair of actors in their twenties to play gay soldiers in love. Interested thesps must be Caucasian, hot and be comfortable sharing a "very romantic kiss" with another dude. BTW, if you're wondering why we teased this item with a photo of Eric Dane, it's because A) the story pertains to Grey's, and B) Dane is a member of that show's cast. Duh.
