Quinta temporada Grey's Anatomy!



Se me ocurrió cerrar el thread anterior de la cuarta temporada y empezar uno nuevo con todas las noticias, rumores y spoilers de la quinta mientras que esperamos que se estrene en septiembre!!!!

Para empezar, voy dejando todos los spoilers que han salido hasta el momento:

Lots of people (mainly Mer/Der fans) are wondering if Lauren Stamile is going to be returning to Grey's Anatomy for Season 5. Please tell me Rose is going die from a "diabetic coma" or something, never to return. - Carlie
Matt: Usually I try to give the "Please Tell Me" folks what they want (even more so if they offer cookies…), but in this case I cannot. As I scooped on Monday, Rose is around for at least the two-hour season premiere, if not a tiny bit longer.

I’ve got a burning Grey’s Anatomy question leftover from your TV Guide days: Which of those season finale smooches was the “major kiss no one would see coming” that Shonda Rhimes alluded to?
Well, contrary to popular belief, she was not referring to Mer/Der’s candlelit trailer park pucker. As Rhimes tells me, although she feels all of the kisses featured in the episode “were worth leaning into the television for,” the one she felt was the most surprising “was Alex and Izzie. But my personal favorite is Bailey kissing Baby Tuck." I tend to agree with her. About Alex/Izzie. The Bailey/Tuck lip-lock was just awright for me.

Is loose-lipped Katherine Heigl still employed at Grey’s Anatomy?
She showed up to this season’s first table read last week, so it looks like it. Oh, to be a fly on that wall.

tengo entendido que para la 5 temporada el personaje de Rose (pareja de DEREK) se volverá mala al enterarse de que Derek vuelve con Meredith. Se pondrá en el medio de la relación.
También se habla de la posible baja del personaje de IZZI, por las críticas de la actriz hacia la serie, no han caido nada bien en la producción.

Yo tambien estoy harta por las vueltas en esa relación, espero que lo de Rose no sea algo tan grave que termine separandolos. Igual es como que falta una mala y ella viene justo.
Veremos que ocurre, parece estar interesante la quinta temporada.

Si, pero me revienta que sea historia reusada... ya tuvimos suficiente de Rose para toda una vida con lo que vimos en la cuarta temporada.
La verdad es que a mi me valen Derek & Meredith, hace tiempo dejaron de interesarme... pero esa escena que tuvieron en el final de temporaa me gusto tanto que quiero darles una nueva oportunidad... y me molesta que sigan poniendo obstaculos a una relacion demasiado deteriorada.

Ayyy, no! Otra vez sopa! Whyyyy?

Y yo que pensé que esta nueva temporada se venía tranquilita para Derek & Meredith. Qué ingenua, no?

Con todo y sus idas y vueltas, los sigo adorando.

FANATICOS DE IZZY RESPIREN TRANQUILOS (OJO hay spoiler)
Steve McPherson, quiso poner termino a los rumores que anuncian la futura muerte de Izzie.
McPherson ya no quiere seguir oyendo que Izzie morirá en Anatomía de Grey en breve por lo que, además de dedicarle todo tipo de alabanzas a Katherine Heigl, ha confirmado que va a quedarse en la serie y que, según sus términos, "gozará de una intriga excepcional" esta temporada.
SPOILER: parece ser que se presentará una posible adopción para la hija de IZZY.

Shonda responds to the Heigl controversy and mentions the upcoming Erica/Callie storyline in vague language.

On ABC’s showrunner panel, critics repeatedly pressed "Grey’s Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes for her reaction to Katherine Heigl's statement that her role was not Emmy-worthy last season.
"When I was told about it, my reaction was surprised," she says. "I have a really wonderful working relationship with Katherine. Everybody knows Izzie is one off my favorite characters."
“I would put her in a coma,” says “Ugly Betty” showrunner Silvio Horta, drawing laughs.
Asked again, Rhimes said: “It’s not insulting the writers per se. The first half of the season she had a very strong storyline with George that played out a lot more comedic than a lot of her storylines … The back half of the season, Katherine asked me to write her light so that she could do her movie. I don’t feel insulted.”
As for the lesbian storyline next season, Rhimes says, “We have a really interesting, funny way of laying out a story for Erica (Brooke Smith) and Callie (Sara Ramirez). It’s not your typical way of dealing with the storyline; we sat down with them and talked about women who figure out they’re lesbians later in life and we found out some interesting things to play out.”

Grey's Anatomy: What's in Store for Season Five


Where is the story taking us next season?
I think a lot of the focus is going to be on the five core interns we've gotten to know—who aren't interns anymore—George (T.R. Knight), Izzie (Katherine Heigl), Cristina (Sandra Oh), Alex (Justin Chambers) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo). I really want to focus on them as they deal with the next step in their training. We're also going to spend a lot of time with Mark (Eric Dane), Derek (Patrick Dempsey), Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Erica (Brooke Smith) and see their interactions.



Grey's Anatomy Relationships: Meredith & Derek, the Original and Still the Best

On to MerDer, are you tired of talking about them?
I was until I got them together, and now it's a whole new world. There's a whole host of other problems that come with Meredith and Derek being together, and a whole host of other storylines, drama and excitement. So I'm really actually excited about them being together, because I feel like what I wanted you to leave with last season is Meredith standing in that field, having done this incredible thing, and the look on her face is a little bit like, "Oh my God, now I actually have to do this." That's important.

Is it more fun for you to write them together?
Absolutely. It was a real challenge to figure out how to get them together...how to get Meredith to the place where she was healthy enough to make this step with Derek. Now that she's made the step with Derek, it's really exciting to see what's going to come next and how she's going to deal with living with a boy, and all the things a man like Derek, who has been married and is a grown-up, might expect.

MerDer is living together? Are they living in Derek's trailer or in Meredith's house?
That you'll have to watch and see.

Is Rose going to be a thorn in MerDer's side?
I don't necessarily think t hat she's a troublemaker for their relationship in the beginning.



Grey's Anatomy Relationships: Callie & Erica, the Newest Romance

Callie and Erica are going to be a couple next season, are they going to come out to the masses?
Eventually that's going to play out. I feel like the important thing is that at the end of the season, Callie kissed a girl. We're going to watch that part of it play out: Did she mean to kiss a girl? What does it mean that she's kissed a girl? Is she excited about it? What does it mean for Erica? We don't really know Erica's side of the story yet in terms of what's going on with the two of them. Then we're going to watch the larger world of what happens when the two of them come out of the hospital, and what happens when Callie's dad (Hector Elizondo) finds out. I think it's going to be really interesting because I think it's very different to go from being 19 and declare this, and be a grown woman and declare this, when your family's already thought something else.

Will this season be a journey for them to discover their sexuality?
They are definitely on a journey, and it's going to be a really interesting one. It's funny, the writers are really excited about it, and we spend a lot of hours talking about how we're going to do it, and what we're going to do, and what might the problems be, and the emotional aspects of it, and the fun that we can have with it.

It seems like they have great onscreen chemistry. Was that a driving force in getting them together?
There is chemistry there, but also both actresses are so game; they're so willing to do something. Sara is such a fabulously comedic actress and has so much to give, and post-George I felt like she was searching for something. Callie and Erica together seem to have a lot of chemistry and dynamic. We really did start them out as being friends and it felt like there was something more there with them; the same kind of chemistry that I saw between Cristina and Burke (Isaiah Washington) before Christina and Burke got together.



Grey's Anatomy Relationships: Alex & Izzie, Heating Up?

We last saw Alex and Izzie getting hot and steamy, in a depressing sort of way. What's next for them?
I think you're going to see a lot of really interesting sparks between the two of them.

Is there any truth to that rumor about Izzie having a brain tumor this season?
No.



Grey's Anatomy: Meet the New Kidd

Kevin McKidd has a built-in McName. What's he going to be doing on the show?
He's going to be playing Owen Hunt, who is a military doctor that comes to the hospital on leave.

He just happens to show up to a hospital where everyone falls for each other? Hmmm...Who is he going for?
I think Cristina might find him fairly interesting.

Que me disculpe Shooooonda, pero ni a palos Callie y Erica tienen la misma química que tenían Burke y Cristina. Para nada de acuerdo con esto.

Y con respecto al "New Kidd" para Cristina, mmmm, no tengo muchas esperanzas, pero voy a esperar a verlos en pantalla. Él no me gusta nada.

Es verdad, la escritora ya aclaro que Izzie no se ira...asi que por ahora queda el elenco tal como esta y nuevas incorporaciones.

Hola!! NUEVA INFO DE LA 5 TEMPORADA:
Al parecer Rose le anuncia a Derek que espera un hijo, no se sabe si es de él o no.
2- Se produce un accidente de auto y el q se accidenta es....DEREK y por lo que vi es bastante serio.

El embarazo de Rosa fue desmentido por Shonda, aunque con ella nunca se sabe.

Ausiello: WTF is right. That little promo caused quote the little firestorm over at ABC yesterday. Not only did it incur the wrath of millions of Rose-weary Mer-Der fans, but it essentially branded one of the network's most valuable assets (i.e. Shonda Rhimes) a big ol' liar. You see, in her ABC podcast that followed the show's finale last May, Rhimes assured fans that Grey's would not be employing any soap operatic stunts to pull Derek and Meredith apart this season -- and she specifically ruled out knocking up Rose. But someone apparently forgot to pass that bit of information on to the folks cutting together that incendiary clip. As a result, Rhimes has been forced to do the unthinkable: Issue an exclusive statement to me that basically denies the very plot twist that ABC shamelessly tried to dangle before us. "I would not deceive our fans," Rhimes tells me, "especially those loyal enough to listen to our podcast." Long story short: The only thing Rose will be carrying in the season premiere is a third wheel.
